Assuming Fox loses, they have the resources and right to appeal this all the way up to the SC. I presume 6 conservative justices appointed by Republican presidents will be able to rectify any mistakes made by this libral Delaware judge.
The problem with this ruling going against Fox is that it would open up every news channel for being sued. You really wouldn't want to see what would happen to CNN and NY Times in a red state court house or possibly blue one with a conservative judge.
Maybe that would be a good thing. Maybe that would lead to just reporting news with no slants.
It would create a situation that any news company could be sued into nonexistence. It would do more harm than good.
Is this the same judge who told us everything Fox said about Dominion was false even though there are stacks of evidence that what Fox said was true or a different one?

Apparently these 1000 dollar an hour lawyers Fox hired thought it was a better idea to admit all these allegations were false rather than present this mountain of evidence you say exists. Surely you know better.

Sure there is.

This is from 2019. NBC wouldn't dare try this now.
Here's another one. There's a ton of these.

It's really easy to hack. I wonder how all of these people like Murdoch know there isn't voter fraud. He doesn't. It's his opinion.
These are the same defamation laws that have been on the books for years. Nothing is changing. This isnt setting any new precedent. All these people are trying to draw false equivalents with media that they in their biased opinion dont like. Trump has already tried to sue the "leftwing media" and got laughed out of court.
Ok, can you timestamp the part in the video for me where it proves Hugo Chavez worked with Dominion to change votes so I dont have to watch the whole thing?
How would you say this is different than the Covington kids defamation case?
Fox never said that. That was Powell. lol. I swear it's like I'm arguing with a high school kid.
Covington video was edited to show something that didn't happen. Fox is being punished for unpopular opinion.

Actually I would want any news organization that recklessly spreads "news" they know to be false to be open to being sued by any parties harmed by such recklessness.
