It is not enough for me to stand before you tonight and condemn riots. It would be morally irresponsible for me to do that without, at the same time, condemning the contingent, intolerable conditions that exist in our society. These conditions are the things that cause individuals to feel that they have no other alternative than to engage in violent rebellions to get attention. And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard.
"As MLK said, 'Riot is the language of the unheard.'"
Like Irish did? Wait. They made something for themselves. What's the difference between the Irish and the Blacks? The Irish went and took it while the black man sat back and wanted it handed to him
Blacks are getting knocked down.?they're being kept down by liberal programs and attitudes like yours.
They're are plenty of successful blacks that have succeeded in life and don't acted like a victim. Granted most of those are conservatives because they understand how liberal programs are bad for blacks.
the officer called him "it"
seriously
except that you buy into the "news' of fox news.
"The only way I can describe it, it looks like a demon, that's how angry he looked. He comes back towards me again with his hands up."" That's the full quote. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/storie...HLIGHTS?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT
Goodness, I didn't see gold's post. gold, friend, that sort of distortion helps no one.
It's not his fault. He's just quoting the typical garbage that's floating around the lib sites. It originated from an NBC legal analyst.
Anything to move the discussion away from the only thing that matters. Another black youth that isn't making the right decisions.
Yep. That's why this thread is 85 pages long. The leftists here have come up with every conspiracy theory/misdirection under the sun in order to distract from the truth of the matter. When that didn't work the old, tired "you're a racist" canard began to be thrown around.

This is play by play what happens and really only the black community suffers from this.
Yeah bbecause people standing up for the injustices against the black community are why they suffer. Holy **** you're delusional.
The truth of the matter is an unarmed civilian was killed by a cop. Who claimed one more punch may have knocked him out but only had a few red patches on his face, not even terribly swollen. Who claimed this man was hulk hogan but was able pull his gun up despite a leverage disadvantage. There's all kinds of questionable stuff going on here and the rightists here want to sweep it under a rug cause a cop just killed a "thug" and a "thug" deserves to die. Might as well just call black people insurgents make em even easier to justify killing.
We just see the world differently my friend. You look for excuses. I look for solutions.
The truth of the matter is this kid robbed a convenience store and assaulted a cop. He is the reason that he is dead.
Your solution is "they need to try harder" ignoring th emuch larger socioeconomic issues. Even if we pretend there's no prejudice in the system (which you'd be an idiot if you thought that) we wouldn't see a higher success rate cause a kid who does well in a****ty school doesn't look as good as a kid who does well in a tough school. Then you get into the real world part where people will consider if someone looks the part of a job they want. Would you hire Michael Brown to be your customer service rep? My guess is you wouldn't.
