Ferguson....

I'm sure the officer had a valid reason to do it. Nobody wants to take another mans life and live with it unless they are sick.

I'm sure he did, just like Officer Wilson did. He was also cleared by a grand jury. Only reason there was no outrage was because it was a white man that was shot. The national media doesn't care about that, Al Sharpton doesn't care about that, Obama doesn't care about that.

And white people don't care about that because we know that if it gets to a point where an officer had to shoot someone to kill that that person did something wrong.

It's a peace keeper's job to put a gun to someone's head when they aren't in possession of a deadly firearm. Because they're scared they may have 2 rosey red cheeks?

Love the armchair psychotherapy you got going on. Brown put Wilsons life in danger once and was charging at him "Like a football player". Wilson had every right to believe at the time that his life was in danger AGAIN!

you're speaking for all white people now?

Maybe he could have dipped into his training, remained in the car or at a safe distance to surveil Brown, foudn another way to disable him. I'm not gonna say he should have shot him in the knee caps, no one is trained to shoot there, they're all trained to shoot center mass. But my point is maybe he should have handled things differently and not immediately escalated to deadly force. It's like starting your car in 3rd gear.

Was there a public outrage? Did you say anything about it? Where was Zito?

I'm sure that white guy did something incredibly stupid and dangerous and is responsible for his own death.

pretty sure i have a really good track record of hating police abuse

no matter the color

this country needs police reform badly

Zito would have had the same issue with it. I am not gonna go around the internet actively looking for cops using deadly force incorrectly cause I have better uses of my time (like looking up cat videos) but present me a case and I'll weight in on it.

You act like all cops are bad?

i love talking to republicans who tell me how bad gov't is and we shouldn't like it but for some reason the gov't employees that enforce bad laws etc are above reproach in those same peoples eyes and most of them don't seem to or want to hold them to a higher standard

So since it's proven that Brown wasn't shot in the back and he wasn't shot while surrendering with his hands up; the argument has changed to the officer should put his life in jeopardy to avoid killing a person that is trying to attack them?

Keep spinning the argument to keep the story alive.

So what definitive evidence si there that his hands weren't up?

You want to see that summary of what all the witnesses said? Where a lot more witnesses testified that his hands were up than that they weren't?

Forensics doesn't believe they were up. I'll take science over witnesses who have been proven not to be reliable in this case.

Doesn't believe does not equal wasn't. And forensics tell a lot but they can hardly tell what position your arms were in unless you have an entrance and exit wound in a track. Otherwise you're largely guessing.

Even if his hands were up(and that's a big if), he was still charging at the officer. Whats the point in charging at a cop with your hands up? It certainly shows no sign of surrender. There's no argument to be made there.

Maybe so he stops shooting at you while runing away? Or you're hoping he'll get you help or something. I don't know. People don't do smart things when under heavy duress.
