GDT #50: May 26, 2014 Red Sox (Buchholz) @ Braves (Santana), 1:10pm EST

That's not all you've argued, but if it were I'd still disagree for the reasons already covered. I do agree that Santana is to blame too, just not totally and I have never said otherwise.

Yeah it's all I've argued. People have complained about the offense after we gave up the lead and Gattis not starting. None of those things were the issue. Santana sucking balls is the issue.

Unfortunately, we've probably woken Boston up and are about to be in for a rough series.

It's also completely embarrassing how many Red Sox fans there are compared to Braves fans.

Not just him. How about the fact we've left 9 runners on base? Or the fact we haven't scored a run since the 4th? Sometimes you gotta score more than 6 to win

Plenty of blame to go around today, Santana deserves a lot sure. But that doesn't mean the other points you and I've made are not valid too.

This Braves teams and past Braves teams have a propensity of scoring runs early in the game and then deciding that is enough for the day. We've seen it far too many times. In most cases, it works out, but not today.

L-I-V-I-D. The team played like like they wanted to give it all away. Just bad baseball after the 4th inning. Whatever is up with Santana, he needs to figure it out and Fredi needs to learn how to manage a game, he gave this away just as much as the pitching stunk it up. On the good side: Jason, BJ, Freddie and JUP were all pretty good.

Just finished watching the game - what a terrible loss! The thing that pissed me off the most was all the Red Sox fans there. Almost felt like a home game for them. Add that to the ESPN announcers. Blech!

Today is a prime example of why I could see us missing the playoffs. Inexcusable, but at least the East as a whole is awful. That might get us in...

Sure but if you are up 6-1, then you should usually win.

Offense wasnt the problem today although they did leave alot of them on base.
