The simple truth is I think it’s funny to point out how stupid someone is. There are a lot of stupid people on this board that post a lot of stupid things. It’s a veritable bonanza of entertainment whenever I have a few minutes to kill.

From the ignoramus that runs his own failed Braves blog while claiming he doesn’t care that much, to the guy who has an axe to grind with me because I pointed out Newk wasn’t really throwing 104 after he adamantly and angrily defended it for 5 pages over an hour, to the guy who is relentlessly and ignorantly optimistic...this place has it all.

I happen to really like this place. So how bout you not burn it down William T Shanks style?

That said, you have been much better until the last week when the Braves have been doing well. No clue what that’s about.

Thank goodness there were people here that told us better. That would have been embarrassing.

I'm in that group. Used to visit daily and post often, but stopped due to this clown ruining this place. There is nothing cool about an internet bully that turns every thread into personal attacks.

Jeff, it's fine that YOU don't feel that way. I would say you're in the minority. Any other site, though, would not allow him to say the things he says. He'd be actively managed or gone.

That's how a lot of folks feel. It's a shame he can't police himself. After 3-4 years of this crap being acceptable, it's hard to put the toothpaste back in the tube.
 
You guys are way too sensitive.

Cheff if that nerdy friend who is always trying to buzz kill you. Like that time you sat in the back of the bar with your boys and played darts and golden tee too long only to come out and see the herd has thinned down to a few fatties and that old divorcie who is a bit crazy.

Well you never sick your dick in crazy so you target the best of the biggies. Of course she is going to the gay club that is open all night with her friends and you want to tag along to close the deal. Cheff is there to tell you how dumb you are and that you will regret this in the morning. So you hop in the cab and ponder his words, knowing he is right. But what comes out of your mouth when the cabbie asks “where to?” Take me to that place where cut off jean shorts are cool and everyone takes their shirt off.

The next day when you recount your night with your friends. Cheff is there to remind you he was right and you hate him for it. But in the end you still tagged a bull and still had fun. So you take his punishment and grin knowing you would do it again if the same situation came up next weekend.
 
The problem with Enscheff is that you used to be able to put him on your ignore list. That's not possible anymore since he's a mod (who made that idiotic decision I have no idea). This guy is not a Braves' fan. He's a troll plain and simple. A quarter of his posts on here are there solely to antagonize.

I know the guy isn't stupid. And I know he gets a kick out of the attention (probably the only attention he gets in life), but he makes this board toxic. When the Braves win he's toxic...when they lose he's toxic. For every 2 or 3 good posts he makes he makes a toxic one.

I think you need to do a quick review on a lot of crap a lot of people are allowed to say on this board before you go around trying to be another white knight.

Personal attacks are the norm here, and I at least refrain from anything bigoted and foul language...unlike many of the useless posters this site allows to "contribute". I have intentionally stayed out of several exchanges recently just to watch them spiral down the toilet all on their own.

Why don't folks ever point out those exchanges? Shall I go link some as examples? Will you guys go on and on for 3 pages about those folks too?

No, you won't. Why? Because I'm the one who proves you all wrong all the time, and it hurts your fragile egos that you aren't as knowledgeable about the game as you think you are. When you can't fall back on the "you're just a nerd who has never touched a baseball" because I played more ball than all of you, it hurts your little egos even more.

You guys are all so butt hurt I'm surprised you can sit at your PCs.

maybe that's a feature we need...to put certain posters on a list so they can't view what we post...different from ignore
