That's nice. Harden dropped 31/11/10 last night and hit 5 of 11 3s for an offensive rating of 130 and a defensive rating of 93. (which completely destroys Klays last game.)

Dude is a shooter, nothing more......Harden has the best all around offensive game in the NBA.

Defensive rating, was he guarding Wiggins who dropped 30?

Nope, Harden guards the worst offensive player every night, of course he'll have a better rating.

I'm not sure how many guys are going to be available next season. Maybe Lopez? I think Draymond is either staying in GS or going to Detroit.

You can throw big offer sheets at Butler/Leonard but I doubt the Bulls/Spurs let them go.

The Knicks rebuild is going to take a lot longer than you think IMO. Also, Okafor doesn't seem all that athletic and has a low block rate. I'm not sure I would say he is a definite first overall pick with the way the game is played now.

Nice response, it's also true.

Bev gets the PG, Ariza, Brewer gets the top wing, Harden gets the worse offensive player and helps him at the other end not being tired.

Harden doesnt guard the other teams top offensive player, ever.

To be fair, its true. Harden is hidden in defensive schemes. Now that they have Ariza/Brewer, Harden doesn't have much responsibility on the defensive side of the ball. Its allowed him to take his marvelous offensive game to an even higher level.

So even if you assume Gasol and LMA go back to their teams, still plenty of talent to pair with Melo / Okafor or Russell or Mudaiy.
 
And again why analytics for basketball isn't to the level where it should end conversations like it does in baseball. What would Hardens defensive rating be if he had to guard the likes of Westbrook/Lebron/Durant/Curry/etc....

Needless to say, it would not be what it is now and yet people look at his rating and talk about how much better he is this year.
