NBA Thread

It was definitely a push off but not the worst one ever not called. The nba is a great product and the massively increased revenues are evident of that. The game hasn't been this popular in a long time and now we might see the reincarnation of Bird vs. Magic in the next few years.

Which is why many argue the league is crooked. I am a believer in that camp. Way too much money involved in professional sports for the games to be played straight up.

Amazing how stupid Woodson is....Knicks are a totally different team when they go small. Yes the Celtics suck but the Knicks lost to them by 40 this season.

I think JR Smith getting his head out of his ass lately is also contributing to them playing so well. That and Melo is pretty good.

Melo has been great all season, but Melo is on another level when he plays at the 4. There's no reason to ever play him at the 3....2 PG lineup with Melo at the 4 is the only way the Knicks should play.

Well then you traded a first round pick to become a worse team. Its a shame Dolan is your owner or you might be a legit team.

A worse team with the way Woodson uses the pieces....Bargs has actually been good BUT he's got to come off the bench or play the 5 if Tyson is hurt. Where he has actually done well against the bigger centers this year. But yes, Dolan is THE worst.

I dont think the NBA is rigged in general, but there are calls that arent called to give teams wins.

Here's one example.

Wait, so your support is a ref that didn't even work the game that thought it was worked based on calls that weren't even questionable?

My support was my own eyes watching the game, an NBA ref who admitted it was fixed, plus every sports journalist who said it look fixed. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to watch the video and see that the fouls are all phantom calls. Do players and coaches react like that to every game? I've watched tons of games and have never seen an entire team react like that. They all knew exactly what was going on. I've seen plenty of choke jobs where the players and coaches look frustrated but not completely bewildered like they did in the 4th quarter of that game.

Your support is some guy who wrote an article and on his list of good and bad fouls, put the Bryant elbow to Bibby's face in the "maybe" category.

The same play where Bibby is holding Bryant or a different one?

The ref "who admitted it was fixed" didn't even work the game nor did he have any knowledge it was fixed. His support for claiming it was fixed was saying the refs were company men and some fouls looks suspicious.

Why would questionable fouls that helped the Kings be called late in the game?

I'd be lying if i said i saw that coming.

Brooks takes out Perk 5 minutes in and doesnt play the rest of the game, thank god, took long enough.

Perk is simply not needed against Miami.
