Neverending **** the Police thread.

Good new for once everyone. The cold blooded murder and unashamed racist Amber Guyger has been denied parole after 5 years. She should be on death row but any day she isnt roaming the streets for her next victim is a good day. And if you dont think she is an unashamed racist she said in her social media posts before the shooting that she didnt even trust black cops simply because of their skin color.

Interviews after the murder of Elijiah McClain show how corrupt the system is. The investigator literally coaches the suspects to get the answers he wants to use to justify their actions. This is like a defense lawyer doing your police interview. And they would have gotten away with this because no charges were even considered before it went public. The "investigator" coaches all of them to say they were in fear for their life..... from the man they were attacking....... might attack them if they stop attacking him...... just assbackwards logic. Put yourself in this young mans place. Your a young black man listening to music on your headphones walking home from the gas station near your home. Cops pull up real fast jump out , charge you, and tackle, and start beating you in the span of 10 seconds. I am pretty damn sure that young man feared for his life too. Keep in mind he had not committed any crime so its not like he robbed a bank and should be expecting cops to arrest him. Keep in mind the 911 caller never said he committed any crime. And cops attacked him because he didnt react fast enough because he was wearing headphones within 5 seconds of getting out of the car despite him doing nothing but continuing to walk slowly. He didnt try to run. He didnt try to fight the cop.

Trump says he is going to end weaponization of the law against the American people but he also says he wants to make cops above the law. If he wanted to end **** like this I would be all for it. City Councils cant make rules saying you cant criticize them in a public meeting. Its the most literal violation of the first amendment rights. Yet the police here illegally arrest this woman. The Judge dismissed the charges with prejudice and called it outrageous conduct by the city. So heres a leaked video of the Chief telling his officers he dont give a **** what the court says, keep arresting people who are clearly doing constitutionally protected activity. This in my opinion is a situation where if 100 armed people showed up and defended her from the cops at the next city meeting I think thats an appropriate use of the second amendment.

I had heard that the cop who tried to murder a handcuffed suspect in the back of his patrol car was charged but when I looked it up I saw that the police declared his attempted murder "objectively reasonable". Thats right, its objectively reasonable to mistake an acorn hitting his vehicle as gunshots and to THEN shoot at the suspect in the patrol car WITH HANDS CUFFED BEHIND HIS BACK who apparently this cop shot him without even breaking a window in the vehicle. That is literally the exact opposite of objectively reasonable.

Some ground breaking **** here. Cops beat up and arrested a man trying to save his house from a small fire. They bring in a special grand jury who flips the script and indict the cop instead. I believe a normal grand jury only has the right to indict the accused but a special grand jury is not limited in who they can indict. I have never seen this happen.

Good news for corrupt cops. A Judge has ruled that falsifying a search warrant that leads to the murder of an innocent person is only a misdemeanor. They really about give these cops a 500 dollar fine for murder.

16 year old kid goes to the train station. Another kid there pulls out a gun and starts shooting at him. He runs away. Cops responding to the scene sees him fleeing and shoots him without ever even saying a word. Then they planted a gun on him to try to justify their actions. They will investigate themselves and find the did nothing wrong but if you put this before a grand jury with a honest process not the DA going into a grand jury acting as the cops lawyer I think the cop would be indicted easily.

Look, swatting someone is immoral and should be punished. But as a reminder, if the police actually harm you as a result of a hoax phone call, perhaps we should take a look at our policing practices.

Swatting needs to be treated as attempted murder But also we need some protections for the victims. For starters police need to practice some common sense. People dont call 911 to announce they killed their family all calm and not panicking. Probably 1 or less per year in the whole country. They need to approach these situations knowing its more than a 99% chance its a hoax. There needs to be rules about aborting the investigating of the victim as soon as they realize whats going on. Too often I see cops blame the victim and even keep searching looking for a reason to arrest them. For example bringing a drug sniffing dog in. You dont need a drug sniffing dog to respond to a murder. And you surely cant bring it in AFTER learning it was a hoax. Cops also need to uncuff the victims ASAP. They generally leave them handcuffed while explaining what happened.

People actually have done that. I am not going to say that it is common (of course murder isn't common anyways), but there are plenty of documented cases of psychotic episodes where the murderer shows no emotion and acts as if what happened was a regular Tuesday. You certainly can't afford to treat a situation like this as a hoax.

Trumps DoJ asked for zero prison time for the cop who blindly shot into Bronna Taylors apartment. Judge gives him 3 years which is still not justice. The fact that they lied to get the warrant and had safer options available to them imo denies them the excuse of just trying to do their job. There are enhanced penalties for when the public harm cops but a lesser when cops do it to you. That is not justice. Anything short of a life sentence here is not justice. Breonna would have got the death penalty if she blindly shot into a cops apartment and took it to trial.

It happens slightly more often than meteors hitting Earth. The point is that cops need to use context clues upon arrival and they need to be required to uncuff the victim and abort the search. When cops break into a house from a call like this and theres no bodies, blood, or sign of a struggle then get to the bedroom and someone playing video games on a stream it is absurd to handcuff the person. Its clear what happened by that point.

Incorrect. Also, the first time they treat this as a hoax and it's not a hoax, the public will crucify them (just like the cops in Uvalde got crucified for inaction, and rightfully so).

There has to be a standard procedure that has to be followed in cases like this.

Sacrificing the rights of everyone for safety of very few. I bet they are more likely to harm someone than save someone when all the context they see tells them its a hoax. Before the trend of swatting took off I might agree with you. Nowadays its too easy and too common for it not to be in any cops mind when going on a call like that. The other part of the issue is they look at it as how can I justify what I want to do and not does the evidence justify potentially harming an innocent person. Let me post a clip where cops actually did the right thing.

Here a man is picking up trash outside his home and a police officer confronts him asking him to justify his existence. I think just about anyone would be offended by that. If the officer has a hunch he is well within his right to initiate a consensual conversation with the person. They cant but do use a person not wishing to speak with them as probable cause to open an "investigation" and now you have to ID or thats obstruction. They know they cant use that as the main reason so they try to create more. They insult and threaten him and then he becomes agitated. Starts cursing and yelling. Now thats disorderly conduct. Despite them having caused the disorderly conduct. Who wouldnt remain calm when multiple people stalk you with guns drawn. Then they use the go to excuse for hurting innocent people. Officer safety. 6 cops with guns vs a man with a stick and a bucket. Clearly the officers safety was in danger. Thankfully a good cop came along and might have saved a life that day. Context matters. Cops killing an innocent person has to be seen as a worse outcome than a traditional crook killing an innocent person. Atleast you have the right to fight back against the non cops. As long as courts tell cops that the threshold for accountability is whether they can find even the flimsiest excuse to justify their actions and that ignorance of the law is an excuse for breaking it many of them are willing to roll that dice. Odds are that stacked in their favor. There are entire police departments who dont even know their own states ID laws. How can that happen. Its the most basic part of their job. It should be a crime to be a cop and not know it. Its not a crime to send someone to patrol an area with a badge and a gun who doesnt know when a person is required to ID. But not knowing means they get to use violence against that person who told them no. Its sadly human nature.

I showed an example of cops doing the right thing and heres an example of cops doing what I was talking about. This man was on the sidewalk outside a police dispatch station filming. Public place, public sidewalk, first amendment protected activity. A cop comes out and looks at the no tresspassing sign on the building. Thats in the building, he is on the sidewalk so he realizes he cant use that against the man. Notice as he leaves he violates their own rules ignoring the sign that pedestrians have to use the stairs. He then gets in his police cruiser and drives at the man on the sidewalk blaring his alarm which if you did it to a cop would be considered assault. Also would be considered disorderly conduct. Look at the woman trying to walk down the sidewalk next to that. Not only is he blocking the sidewalk traffic but he is disturbing everyone in the area. Driving on the sidewalk is also a traffic infraction. He actually runs his cruiser into the wall which is destruction of government property if you scratch their vehicle. The cops tell him he has no first amendment right to film. Flat out lie. The cops threaten him. He tells them he is threre protesting them. They tell him 1 person cant be a protest. Again, flat out lie. One cops tells him if he spoke to him like that out of uniform he would beat his ass. Try telling a cop that and see if you end up with charges of threatening him. Maybe you would be convicted maybe you wouldnt but you would spend time in jail and have your life torn assunder even if you beat the charges. So what does he care if the charges stick. He still gets to harm you and thats the point.

What I will be proposing in my report is that cops be held liable for 1,000 dollars for each constitutional violation and their department or agency responsible for 9k. Right off the bat. The agency would also be on the hook for the legal fees of anyone who sues them and wins. So poor people could actually go to good lawyers who would take their case if they know its a winner. So the agency would have two choices when there is a civil rights violation. They can admit fault and pay out. Or they can go to court and if they lose they pay their 9k plus the legal fees which might double or triple the bill to them. So clear violations they would have incintive not to fight. Many of them will still fight it but at some point they will run out of money and then its on the elected officials and voters to hold them accountable. Spent 40% of your budget paying out civil rights violations so you have to layoffs cops. Some might say oh if cops dont have their funding crime will increase. Sure, probably will. But the problem is the 40% of their budget going to waste not that they dont have enough funding. If you are that police chief you would be looking at the officers who keep costing my department money and firing their ass. But you probably wont have to because a cop who keeps violating peoples rights wont be able to make a living as a cop. Cops care more about their 1000 dollars than they do about 10 billion dollars in public money. The other thing I would do is make them responsible for paying frivolous tickets like what they gave this man. If they know a ticket wont hold up in court they wont do it because they would be the one paying it. As it stands now they give them out even when they know they are wrong because at the least it inconveniences the person they want to harm.
