Newk to AAA, Viz to the DL

I’d like to wait till June but we could be so far back bc of the bullpen at that point that we wouldn’t need him. Our bullpen needs help and soon. The division is to strong to hold steady.
 
Any previous value analysis done by the FO took into account the improvement Kimbrel would have made over a BP that included Viz. Now that Viz is gone, the value of adding Kimbrel has increased.

Maybe it's increased enough to bridge the gap between the offer and the demand.

It's safe to say a BP that consists of Minter plus a bunch of random arms isn't good enough.

I understand why people would think Newk would be a good BP option considering he has good stuff but I thought the biggest attribute someone has to have is the ability to throw strikes??

idk, plenty of guys who couldn't find the zone as starters become relievers.
