Why would they be shocked at Fredi making another questionable move?

I disagree. There is no way you can know (at the end) what Uggla would've done. Fact is, a terrible Uggla still has more potential to help the team than Jose Constanza, especially when talking about a team short on infielders.

I am just curious, is there any move Fredi could make other then resign that you would agree with?

By the way, I actually would have probably put Uggla on the roster, but I am willing to give Fredi credit when a move works. We'll see what Costanza does.

On the other hand, if Jose gets a game-winning hit or the small ball strategy works, we can at least say putting those guys in was wise.

For the record, I stand by my position that Uggla should be on the roster, mainly because we need another backup infielder in case someone is injured or ejected.

I've agreed with several moves and voiced those opinions on here. I was just defending him for going Reed over Joey T the other day.
