There are some increases in positive case percentages in georgia/Texas.
Can't get good data for Texas hospitalizations but Georgia is seeing a slight uptick. Will be interesting to see where this trend goes.
At a minimum, we should expect cases to go up.
It's not the end of the world. People can handle it and immunity will be build. Vulnerable people should take precautions.
This isn't hard
There is never any humility. I am cracking up at the responses though... "they cant see them due to the pile of dead corpses from ending net neutrality " lol

9% of Americans have diabetes

I'm sorry your scared. But the other conditions are just another fear tactic.
The data is clear that it acts essentially as a flue for anyone under 50. And progressively gets worse and quite serious for very elderly people.
It's not that difficult to manage this. But the notion that the vast majority of the population must shelter in place in order to protect a tiny fraction is completely backwards logic

I've seen this repeated multiple times, but the point being made seems strange. The flu also gets much more serious for the very elderly. It's more like a young person getting COVID-19 is on par with someone well into middle age (I presume this is the "median" case) getting the flu, in terms of mortality.
The left can just say whatever it wants with no repercussion because the DNC propaganda arm will never hold them accountable

Didn't stop her from politicizing it with the rest of the disgusting left in the country.
Pathetic. Who would ever let these idiots hold any power?

i only speak for myself
but i have had a cold, the flu and covid19 and am under 50
hell, i'm under 40 lol
covid19 was not "Essentially the flu". it kicked my ass the way the flu wishes it could kick your ass. that's the only way i would describe them in the same sentence
I have a 39-year old friend who um is strongly influenced by right-wing media. He is in very good shape. He got very sick from COVID and put out word in his circle of friends that it is not a minor thing. His wife and daughters also got sick but their symptoms were very mild compared to his. Mostly headaches and loss of sense of taste in their cases.
