Thread for Games ...

Yeah, Albies was basically the same age, a tad younger, and actually got a few ABs the year before as well. Heyward got 2 ABs at 18 but was a little older the next year when he got more extensive time, though it was the same point in his development.

Just seems weird to see a kid who has only played 40 games above rookie ball out there consistently in spring training.

braves way

I wasn't suggesting it was a bad thing. I like seeing him out there.

I think I read that he was only going to be assigned the first 2 exhibition games then go to rookie camp. Not sure if that changed or if he impressed enough to let him continue to shine. I would love to see this breed confidence that he carries over into destroying the minors this year!!

I was hoping they pulled him after 2 and just let him leave feeling better about himself.

How in the world did he look so good in the beginning and now equally so bad. I thought between he and Blair...Wisler would be the one to figure things it. Boy was I wrong...It's turning out to be the opposite. Blair has developed the out pitch...not Wisler. Still has time of course, but he sure seems to be going in the wrong direction.

I really hope he's working on stuff out there that he's struggling with and not just trying to pitch well. The reason Spring Training stats aren't important is that a lot of guys are trying stuff, but if you're getting rocked when you're trying your normal best pitches, then that's not a good sign.
