Acuna just turned 19. How many guys that age have we ever had get this much time at spring training?
Ozzie last year? Furcal, but he wasn't really 19. Andruw in 96? Nobody else really comes to mind.

Yeah, Albies was basically the same age, a tad younger, and actually got a few ABs the year before as well. Heyward got 2 ABs at 18 but was a little older the next year when he got more extensive time, though it was the same point in his development.
Just seems weird to see a kid who has only played 40 games above rookie ball out there consistently in spring training.
braves way
I wasn't suggesting it was a bad thing. I like seeing him out there.
What if Acuna was on the White Soxs.. that would put some on here over the top!!
He might be as well as Albies, Allard, Newcomb and Soroka if some here got their way and the Braves traded for Quintana
Recker with an RBI double.
Is this guy a legit back up C candidate? Could we flip Flowers?
Wisler with a stint to forget.

It is irrational, but I like Recker a lot. I know he isn't good, but I like him. Maybe because he is so dreamy?
I was hoping they pulled him after 2 and just let him leave feeling better about himself.
How in the world did he look so good in the beginning and now equally so bad. I thought between he and Blair...Wisler would be the one to figure things it. Boy was I wrong...It's turning out to be the opposite. Blair has developed the out pitch...not Wisler. Still has time of course, but he sure seems to be going in the wrong direction.
