WS tix?

Oh it would have been just me heading to Atlanta. I wouldn’t ruin that experience by bringing the family.

My dad and I had some amazing times going to post season games in the 90s when I was a kid/teenager. We still talk about those times today very fondly. Taking a kid could be great.

And here I thought you were just a know-it-all wanna be GM prick, turns out you’re just an awful person as a whole. Good to know. You’re probably taking them to Mexico hoping they get kidnapped by a cartel. In all seriousness, my family hate baseball so I can relate to your post.

Gotcha. That makes sense.

I have friends that aren't taking their kids (they also paid more than I did) but mine are old enough to remember it, so I gotta take them. They are huge Brave fans and stay up with me watching most nights. They may not stay awake the whole time but they better remember it!!!!

I wouldn't take my family. My son is in college and is not a baseball fan. My daughters would like the atmosphere, but not the game, so no need to waste money for them to want to walk around the battery. My wife and I differ on where we like to sit.

So that is a good opinion question for the group. Where do you like to sit. I am a upper (above field level) guy. I like seeing the whole field and just getting all the sights and sounds of the stadium.. it doesn't have to be nose bleed, but anything that is above field level so I feel I don't get obstructed views of what I might want to watch. My wife loves field level, close to the action type seats. Plus she hates stadium stairs.

What does everyone else like??

I went last year and was surprised how much I like the HR porch seats. The whole game was right in front of you.

We usually sit in the shaded part of 1B level.

I have sat in front of the press box on third level behind home and was really impressed at how good those were

I'm a seat snob, which contributes to my reluctance to spend over $1000 per seat for nosebleeds.

For value, I like the 200 level, preferably about midway down the base line on either side. It's high enough to get a good view, but low enough to still get the full benefit of the atmosphere of the game.

The Chop House area wasn't all that impressive to me. I sat there by myself when I was passing through earlier in the year. The refrigerated cup holder was gimmicky, but it was nice having a charging port for the dumbass who relied on the crappy wireless charger in his car all day.

I have a 2 1/2 year old toddler, and my wife doesn't even like baseball, so I guess I lucked out only having to pay for a ticket for myself. If I do take my wife, she likes to sit close to the action, and I just want cheapest ticket because I don't care.

I took my son to the 2019 playoffs and he was 9 months old at the time lol. Needless to say, we only sat in our seats for 1 inning. He wouldn't sit still. Not a fun experience.
