Rather than slap a "resisting arrest" charge on him, let's kill the guy! I mean, if he didn't resist, he would have never bee killed. It's his fault he's dead!

Just because a person or business owner may sell loosies(sp) does not mean that they are selling them to kids. I knew a few Arab, Indian, and Latino corner store owners who would sell my ex boyfriend loosies all the time. Its just an under the table type of way to make money. I do not agree or disagree with it. Speaking with my mother she told me she always busted people for this type of thing back when she was a cop in NJ. From the video it seems as if he was just fed up with being harassed by the cops over this issue. He should not have resisted arrest but at the same time the cops should have backed off of him once he stated he could not breath. Choking the guy was an abuse of power.

The problem that I am having with a lot of inept white cops who patrol minority neighborhoods is their John Wayne/Cowboy behavior. Garner and Brown did not have guns. They live/work in the neighbor that these cops patrol. 9 times out of 10 these cops can find these people again. Using excessive force on Garner and shooting all willy nilly at Brown is really not needed. No offense but Garner was fat where the hell is he really going to go? There are ways officers can take down a person (even a person 3 times bigger than they are) that is not excessive.

But at the end of the day the cop getting away does not shock me. Amerikkka was made for the white man and cops. We are definitely not living in a post-racial society after electing Obama. Anyone who thought so is a damn fool.

No, I didn't blame him for his death like I blamed Brown for his own. I just don't understand why you would resist arrest and further increase charges against yourself. This is not a defense of the officer. The two can easily be seperated.

Grouping Brown with Garner really hurts Garner since Garner did not assault anyone like an animal. Wilson was justified in what he did. This other cop that killed Garner should have to face jail time IMO.

What did he do that "resisted arrest"? He is agitated that the cops are harassing him (whether they had cause or not is irrelevant) and asks them to leave him alone. Then they jump him and he freaks out for like a couple seconds. Then he very obviously stops resisting and begs them to let him breathe. And the cops kill him while he is laying there begging.

If your reaction to that is "people shouldn't resist arrest" then I hope you die in a fire.

If you've done something illegal then I do not believe you should resist arrest. Its about being accountable for your actions. You know you are doing something against the law.

this ALSO wouldn't have happened if the cop weren't a piece of **** ****ing moron and was professional. When you let almost anyone become a cop, this is what you get. Talk about accountability? How about the ZERO accountability the cop will face for taking someone's life?

Nope, I've said the cop should get jailtime. The discussion of resisting arrest is another discussion.

But, I know Liberals want to try and combine the two to eschew any responsibility a citizen has when they break the law.
