Neverending **** the Police thread.

Depends on the situation. Lets run through a few.

- traffic stop - No.
- feeding the homeless - No.
- Trying to overthrow the government - Yes
 
Interesting that none of our friends here have commented on the Marion Kansas situation where authorities illegally raided a newspaper and home of the newspaper editor over small town personal stuff.

Can't discuss police reform though without coming off as anti-police.

It is whataboutisms and its two completely different scenarios. Keep in mind only 1 person was shot throughout that whole siege at the Capital. At the time I preached caution towards those attacking the Capital. After seeing all the whining and complaining after the Capital Police treated the MAGA crowd with kid gloves I wish they started shooting earlier. 1 bullet per entrance was all it would have taken. When you go around saying this is a violent revolution dont be surprised when you get shot. People can LARP it all day long but when you do it within feet of US Congressmen expect to get lit up.

it's not whataboutism

a large group of people declared their independence from the seattle/washington government, violently took over multiple blocks of city property and declared it their own government. per your criteria, police should have started opening fire on them. is that not the case?
 
If cops went by that logic there would have been thousands of MAGA dead before any of them even made it into the Capital. The key here is one took place in a random part of ****sberg and the other was in the Capital building filled with Congress and the VP while doing their constitutional duty. All the Trump tards could have done exactly the same thing in a random parking lot somewhere and no one would have got shot. If you arent aware. Cops tend to take the safety of Congress and the VP a little seriously. Especially the Capital Police.

And by political opponents you mean a person trying to harm members of Congress to try to disenfranchise the overwhelming majority of the countries votes. We used to line people up and shoot them in the head for that. Back when we were smart.
