Apparently we are charging people $2,000+ for safe passage out?

I hate saying thiWhy did most US citizens stay after we started withdrawing? Money.People don’t work in Afghanistan for minimum wage. The contractors made a lot of money, for dangerous work. They shouldn’t get charged, but it’s not easy getting money appropriated in our political era

Agree. They stayed because of money. Any transport on military planes isn’t free - regardless of circumstance. Congress would have to change the law for miscellAaneous receipts - and that would not happen because it would impact all revenue.

this has been the case since between 1980's and late 1990's.
You read it and tell us all the law

b) only civilians are being charged. Pretty sure they paid their way in.

c) why were they still there ?

I've been evacuated twice. And charged for it both times. Fortunately the company I worked for covered the cost. This is not new.

It’s called Non-combatant Evacuation Operations, and the military has executed 25 such operations since 1975.
And there has been a cost for each of them.
This isn’t new.

Please also take note that Mark Meadows name is attached.

I dont get the complaint. Wouldn't giving them a free flight be socialism?

Evil?

Gotta pull yourself up by your bootstraps if you want out of

a dangerous situation.

It’s now the Americans fault we left them stranded.

Just when you thought 57 couldn’t be more if a clown.

My reading told me and I forget where , been a busy morning

Since Monday 7,000 have been evacuated with 6,000 on hold- at the airport.
////

My reading says it wasn't blame but the law. People have to pay their way in and out.

Those left stranded ... by wondering why were still there when they were first alerted months ago is a fair question.

If any one has that answer.
That isn't a challenge

Our incompetent progressive regime has no clue how many Americans are still in Afghanistan and you want to rely on the numbers they provide.

Clown show. Illegitimate.

Maybe we should ask the Taliban to hold up so we can have a audit.

I understand Cyber Ninjas are taking on work

And there it is.

These are the types of people running our **** show of a government.

Ugh, so many people like 57 vote for this trash. How do you continue to pull the lever for such incompetence?

I laugh at the fact that we are printing money by the trillions... Canceling rent payments. Sending checks for people to stay home.

But Americans stranded in war zone well. We. Are gonna need them to pay up

How much better of a spot would we be in if the deep state didn't setup Erik Prince and General Flynn?

When are people going to be held accountable for that farse thrusted on the American people?

Obama was the single most destructive force to American exceptionalism that our country has ever seen.

Souring relationships with some allies along the way too. It’s became a serious problem that our enemies are laughing at us, but when our friends are speaking out against us, well that’s another thing.

The big guy needs to own this mess and maybe consult with some actual world leaders who know what’s going on.

He has bigger things on his plate than to jump through MAGA hoops.
The POTUS doesn't "own" things
Regardless party

Wait - I thought the Biden regime was going to bring America back to their allies?

Surely the lecturer didn't get something else incorrect right?

There wouldn’t be any hoops to jump through if knew what he was doing. Trump was a brand new guy to politics and yes, he made some mistakes. Biden has been doing this for 50 years and is seemingly getting worse.

I'm reminded how you endlessly posted photos of Trump tossing a paper towel roll to a crowd as if this was the biggest scandal of our time

But Biden vacationing while charging Americans $2k to escape a war zone is hunky dory

all because of a damn letter
